City of Tigard Fleet Services, located at 8777 SW Burnham Street in Tigard, Oregon, has been recertified through EcoBiz. First certified in 2016, City of Tigard Fleet Services has continued to go above compliance to perform eco-friendly repair of fleet vehicles.
Several important actions have been taken in recent years to help the environment, including:
- Stocking spill kits (available during every EcoBiz site visit);
- Storing all chemicals under cover with containment to prevent spills from reaching the environment;
- Marking all storm drains to remind employees about the connection between the storm drain and local waterways;
- Moving all scrap metal and used tires under cover to protect storm water.
