Canyon Auto Repair, located at 11591 SW Canyon Road in Beaverton, gained EcoBiz Certification in July. The shop was recognized by the Oregon DEQ and Clean Water Services. Shop manager Garrett Krupp, with support from owner Lee Nguyen, took multiple steps to prevent spills and protect the environment. Canyon Auto Repair added secondary containment for approximately 400 gallons of hazardous materials, added spill kits and spill plan provided by PPRC, and switched from single-use to bulk brake cleaner.
