Bob Lanphere Enterprises, which owns several automotive franchises in Beaverton, has repeatedly demonstrated how dealerships can incorporate sustainable practices that are both environmentally and economically sound. Certified since 2009, Bob Lanphere’s Beaverton Honda continues to showcase that business and environment are compatible.
Bob Lanphere’s Beaverton Honda has made several important decisions to help the environment and local waterway, including:
- Refilling of spill kits (available during every EcoBiz site visit)
- Posting a spill plan, while keeping spill kits stocked in areas where liquids are stored and transferred
- As part of the project to construct a wood and steel bridge over Beaverton Creek to reach the new service center, Beaverton Honda restored the banks of the creek within the property
- Implementing rooftop parking to reduce the surface lot
